The Pioneer is orbiting a planet in the sole solar system within the nebula. A new XO has replaced our XO, and will be taking over the away mission to the near moon. You have s ahort time to post pre-away-mission posts, and I expect you will hit your 100 words per month this next month.

Graz, I expect you will report to Quie for various examinations before reporting to duty. You will then take over the away mission and go find out what happened on the moon.

Quie and, potentially, T'Preea, please run Graz through her evaluations and determine if she is fit for duty. You will also need to make sure the away team is properly medically staffed and supplied. Steve Ryerson, if you are on board, this away mission would be good experience for you.

Toxh, please see if the away team needs any handy things from Engineering.

th'Zarath, the sensors should have a final examination in preparation for the away team's findings.

Morton, I'd like to make sure our team is safe as they explore the moon. You have the resources of the security department at your disposal.

The Pioneer is in orbit around the second planet, and the crew is preparing for an away mission so they can explore the industrialization of that moon.

In reality, the XO is recovering from being sick, which has delayed the away mission. Please continue posting pre-mission postings.

Admiral Wheeler graciously posted a link to the Fleet Newsletter: http://news.independencefleet.com/2013/04/newsletter-for-december-2012-february-2013/
