The Pioneer is in orbit around the second planet, and the crew is preparing for an away mission so they can explore the industrialization of that moon.

In reality, the XO is recovering from being sick, which has delayed the away mission. Please continue posting pre-mission postings.

Ensign shras th'Zarath, you were selected Rookie of the Month for December. Lieutenant JG Morton of Kaliss, you were selected Rookie for the Month for February. Congratulations, both!

Lieutenant Commander Ra'Vesti is out sick, and, since he is heading the away mission to the near moon, it means the away mission is delayed. Please post away mission preparation posts expecting his return. We wish him godspeed in his recovery.

The Pioneer is orbiting the second planet, preparing for an away mission to the nearby moon, which shows signs of industrialization but not general habitation.

The Pioneer is in orbit around the second planet, which is now toxic to moat life forms. The XO has been replaced, and we've added a medical officer (who does not seem to be reporting yet *ahem* Ryerson).

The near moon has signs of industrialization, and might bear further examination.
