Welcome to the USS Rioja

You are now on board the U.S.S Rioja under the command of Captain John Buderger. This is an Intrepid Class star ship designed for deep space scouting and Scientific missions.

War Time: As of this point in the DS9 timeline we are at the boiling point of the war. Starfleet has become desperate and in tern created Task Force Echo. This task force is made of whatever ships that are available including ships pulled from retirement and science vessels refit for war.

The USS Rioja is the lead in this misfit bunch refit multiple times over the past year to prepare it for the dangerous missions that lay ahead.

So I was going to start the mission some time over the weekend however I became sick and looking at the computer screen became a challenge let alone forming sentences that make any sense. So I am mostly over it and ready to start this mission up "again". So expect the first post in the next day and lets have some fun.

New Mission: Separation Complete.

We will be going to Kessik IV and who knows what else will happen.

I will make the genesis post [first post of the mission] this week.

Monthly Awards will be issued this week.

I would like to ask that the crew update there Bios. Be thorough if at all possible. I plan to use the crew bios to spice up the next few missions.

We will be doing physicals and psych evaluations throughout the month so be prepared.

Should be fun. I will be pushing for recruitment but please feel free to help out if you can.
